These Gentle Routine strips have been amazing so far. I have always been self-conscious about my teeth and these have greatly improved my confidence when i smile. (yeah, yeah sounds cliche, but its true!) Pros: -only have to wear them for 5 minutes so it takes less time than other Crest Whitestrips products -haven't given my teeth any sensitivity problems -cost much less than dentist-strength whitening products (I paid $30.00 at Target). Cons: -28 treatments take longer than the 10 day treatments -Whitening is less dramatic Bottom line: If you have sensitivity problems and you don't want to spend hundreds of dollars at the dentist these are the product for you. The whitening is noticeable but if you're going for that Julia Roberts look you may want to try the original formula first. I used the product as directed, for no longer than 30 minutes, right before going to bed. When I woke up I couldn't believe how much my teeth were hurting and that's why I started looking for reviews or articles on tips on what to do about it. Well, there's nothing you can really do about it. Just hope it will go away eventually. It's been over 10 hours and they still hurt terribly. It's not just "sensitivity", it's more like a sort of root pain, hard to describe, which actually worries me. I don't think I will be using the rest of the carton. I believe it might be thinning the enamel and might not be a good option on the long run. So I guess I'm going to go for healthier teeth than whiter teeth this time. Maybe there's something else out there, that won't be so painful. This is unbearable and not just a little "tingly" sensation as some describe. I do not have cavities, so it has nothing to do with that. Again, everyone's experience might be different, but there is no way I'm ever using them again. McNeal Just finished the last strip today. I would say the results are average at best. Teeth did lighten but not to the degree I had hoped.
