This is the worst designed water filter I've ever seen for a pet water bowl. These filters are good and don't need to be replaced that often. The problem probably is with the canned food...   April 14, 2010 cf50 I think the 360 fountain is good, although is not totally cleanable (there are some spots that I cannot reach even with a cotton swab). Since my cat started to eat canned food, this fountain has been requiring to be cleaned 2 or 3 times a week. The water becomes white and disgusting. I thought maybe it was because I hadn't been changing the filter so frequently, but now I've been changing it twice a month and I still have to clean everything 2-3 times/week. Probably it is all about the canned food and my cat might be producing more saliva, but I'm almost changing the fountain for the old ceramic bowl.
